Now that at long last the rights are seemingly in place to licence new Superman merchandise based strictly on the Movies (as evidenced by Mattel's new collector line) the pictures above show its humble beginnings. From the top - German magazine ad, Boxed and loose 12" 'World's Greatest Super-Heroes!' Superman figure and the 'Pocket Super-Heroes' action figure. Though Christopher Reeve is clearly shown in the campaign, Mego's licence was restricted to using the comic-book interpretations of the costumes...All items from my collection.

Very Cool.. I have a request remember the photo with Chris Reeve and Aaron smolinski? Behind the scenes from Superman III. Reeve was wearing a white t-shirt and was made up as Superman. That was a cool pic.. Any other behind the scene stuff with just candid Chris Reeve as Superman would be Great
